Day 2 Wooldale

Busy with electrical work at the moment so not putting in as much time as I’d like to be at the house. A slow start but good progress has been made for time spent there. (2 days)

Cleared everything out, created ventilation holes, capped off old water system, hacked off old plaster / render for DPC

Found this behind the fireplace  – looks like our friend’s  beloved Tod  – it’s even got a small chip on it’s head where Tod has a scar from being bit.

Howdens Kitchen Halifax

This was a job off the back of  the house renovated and sold recently in Halifax.

The customer told us what she wanted  – which was more or less like for like with the exception of adding a breakfast bar  – which was improvised  from one of the new worktops.  All the walls and tiles stayed the same without plastering, decorating or tiling involved.  This kept costs and timescales down to a minimum  – the whole job took 2 days and 2 hours from start to finish  and one very happy customer.  Thanks to Roy Kaye (kitchen fitter and Chris Wood plumber)
