Salon 153 in Holmbridge – upgrading of lighting. Great hair cuts courtesy of Jo and the team, it’s also a lovely building which is grade 2 listed and tastefully furnished. Love the Christmas scissors decoration , and my new haircut!

On a lighter note, from all the latest drama we’re all having to endure. Just returned from another working holiday in Cornwall. Testing and inspecting, a few other small jobs and plenty of surf sea and sunsets.

The best cafe in Marsh by far. Tasty food at non rip off prices, efficient, clean and friendly service C/O Jo. Some nice new lighting and extra sockets C/O yours truly.

Nice to see all the hard work coming together – absolutely love this house best one yet! So glad I stuck my neck out and bought this where others feared to tread. I’ve always been a lover of victorian houses, this time it’s Edwardian – early 1900’s from the arts and crafts movement – beautiful original features – stained glass, woodwork, fireplaces. Although it was in need of a full scheme of refurbishment throughout the house has stood up incredibly well for its age, and now its probably looking the best its done in over 100 years!
