EICR Testing for Homes and Landlords
An EICR can be useful when:

Landlords in England are required to have the electrical installation in their rented properties inspected and tested at least every five years, or sooner if the previous report requires it.

What Does an EICR Involve?
Electrical testing is more than simply checking that the lights and sockets work.
Depending on the installation, the inspection and testing can include checking:

What Happens After the Test?
Once testing is complete, you will receive an EICR detailing the condition of the electrical installation.
If the installation is satisfactory, the report will confirm this.
If problems are identified, I will explain what they mean and, where appropriate, provide a quotation for any remedial electrical work required.
There is no obligation to have remedial work carried out by Appleby Electrical.
